How Serious is Congress against Corruption?

Congress is shielding many of their Corrupt Ministers
and faking a stand against corruption

Why Kripa Shankar Singh, Ashok Chavan,
Sushilkumr Shinde, Shivajirao Nilangekar Patil,
are being given political cover?
Kripa Shankar Singh moving around with Sonia and Rahul Gandhi ?
I was shocked to see Kripa Shankar Singh on the national TV channel with Sonia and Rahul Gandhi. Just last week, there was a news report stating, Kripa Shankar Singh`s appeal to court to free his bank accounts and assets was rejected by the judiciary. This means he is trying his best to wriggle out of cases with political pressure.

He has amassed wealth by indulging into corrupt practices and made properties on family and friends names.
This is a loot which is by Congress ex President Kripa Shankar Singh of Mumbai and now he is being tried in the court. This case is going on for a very long time like Laloo`s case was going on for 17 long years. Finally he was convicted for Fodder scam and jailed for 5 years. In case of Kripa Shankar, it is said, he has made so much of money from his position of power that he should not be seen anywhere near the corridors of power.

But this is the hypocrisy of Congress and its Vice President Rahul Gandhi.
On one side he takes a high moral ground and seen around him are corrupt, tainted, Congressmen  like  Susshil Kumar Shinde. Kripa Shankar, Sajan Kumar, Jagdish Tyrtler ?
What is the message going out  from congress ? Rahul Gandhi says he wants to seriously fight against the corrupt system and corruption at all levels. On the other hand, we see 4 Ex Chief ministers from his party are being protected by his own Congress government in Maharashtra? In fact, Congress in Maharashtra has discarded the commission report by two retired judges?
The two senior judges report was not tabled in the Maharasshtra assembly for debate and discussion at all.
After spending Tax payers over 7 crore Rupees, the report is rubbished by Maharashtra Congress?

Justice Patil, the honorable retired judge on the commission expressed his views to media openly, saying, he expected Maharashtra Govt will not look into their report and will dismiss it. Because he knew, it will hurt Congress image. And all efforts will be made to hush it up.
Same is the story of two other Huge Scams of Maharashtra government ministers. Irrigation scam where Ajeet Pawar is involved and Export of Rice Scam where huge profits are made by ministers and bureaucrats.
And these two scam reports too are not going to see the light of the day.
It is reported that Rice and Irrigation scams are many fold huge in the loot than Adarsh scam. But in all the scams where Congress ministers are involved are being given political protection?

Do you think Rahul Gandhi and his Congress is serious about dealing with the corruption in the system ? They all are serious to nail Narendra Modi on every issue. They wickedly blow it out of proportion in the media to target Modi.
The recent claims by Rahul Gandhi and his speeches seem to be hollow without any serious intent to tackle corruption. It is purely bying time and and a deceptive way to fool people.
Why there is no time frame set to complete the investigations?
Why so much of tax payer money is spent on commissions without any one held accountable and responsible for the frauds?
How many are sent to jail till today? One after 17 years of long trial. Laloo Prasad Yadav?
This act od setting up commissions seems to be a smart act to buy time. After long time, everyone forgets about scams and even national media does not follow it up with a close watch on its progress.
That is how, the Home Minister who once made an irresponsible statement in public.
He said... just imagine Union Home minister says this... public has short memory. They forget everything fast. Don't worry, even thiis Coalgate and 2G scams they will forget it?
Because we have Home minister who is irresponsible and jokes about every serious issue... we are not in a position to nab the terrorists who keep attacking us, killing our innocent people.  Unless Civil society does not react strongly to throw these shameless corrupt politicians from the system, nothing will change.
Like in the recent elections, people came out to cast their votes in high numbers, in 2014 too, maximum number of people must  get out of their homes for voting. Let them vote whoever they want to. But maximum voting by people to choose their government will make our democracy participatory in the real sense.

We all must ensure that if we want good governance and corruption free governance, we too need to become a part of Changing India.

Or the corrupt political class will keep ruling and keep looting.l Remember this.

We wish you, you always remain healthy and active. We cant see a roaring lion confined to wheelchair. We cant see.

We cant see emotional poet touching the hearts of millions with his poetic words saying nothing today.

We miss your roaring speeches in the parliment because nobody has today the abilty to roar in the parliament like you did. We miss your presence in the parliment today.

There used to be pin drop silence when you used to speak. Every word you use to utter in your speech had deep meaning and a powerful message to convey to house and countrymen.

All members, and the nation used to be mesmerized with your words, thoughts coming from  a finest human being,  an outstanding Statesman and a visionary leader.

Even your opponents  admired your oratory. Every word you said was carefully chosen with loaded expression to convey your thoughts precisely to your audience. You never hesitated calling spade a spade. You never dodged any issues and took a easy exit.

Your vision was clear. Your road map for India in 21st century was set.

For you, Nation is first. National interest is first before anything else. India , Indian people, Indian Art, Indian culture, Indian ethos for you are all a matter of pride.

You have everything in you and still your humility, your honesty and modesty is a living example today for younger generation.

The Best Expressions of Rahulism

A selection of Rahul’s best – the Rahulisms

Listen to Congress PM Candidate

CII summit, New Delhi (April 2013)
There is a tendency to look at India as a country. If you go back 1,000 or 2,000 years, India is actually energy. It is a force. It came from Ganga, Yamuna, Saraswati. As this energy goes abroad, you are our people who will tell everyone what this energy is all about. It’s this energy that’s driving us.
Interaction with professionals, Ahmedabad (Feb 2009)
Gujarat is bigger than the United Kingdom, to give you an idea. In fact, India is bigger than Europe and the United States put together.

Speech on nuke deal in Parliament (March 2009)
I spoke about two poor families - one of them was called Mrs Kala. Mrs Kala said she had diversified her income sources and used that to bring up her nine children. Nuclear energy acts as Kala’s main crop. The problem is the way our nuclear industry is positioned. Our scientists are tied because they do not have fuel, investment and technology. I’m proud to say Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has recognised the problem as well as the potential solution.

Interaction with media, Kolkata (Sept 2013)
Politics is everywhere. It's in your shirt, your pants. Politics is everywhere. That is the problem with youngsters these days. This is a fundamental problem and we are trying to solve this problem

A reaction to Anna Hazare’s agitation at Ram Lila Maidan, New Delhi (Aug 2011)
The real question is can we take up the battle against corruption? There are no simple solutions. It requires a firm political will. Annaji has expressed the same sentiments. The question before us is whether we are prepared to take corruption head on. Lokpal Bill cannot be a substitute to fighting corruption.

Chairing a talk on future of the Internet, JNU campus, New Delhi Jan 2013)
Stop asking politicians what they would do. Start asking yourself what you would do. That’s how the country will move forward

A meeting with students of LN Mishra university, Darbhanga, Bihar (Aug 2011)
If the country has to change, Gujarat has to change - a comment that sparked an uproar and resulted in his exiting the meeting midway. His correction: ‘Galti se Gujarat bol diya Bihar ke bajaaye’ (By mistake I said Gujarat instead of Bihar).

Indian Institute of Information Technology convocation, Amethi (Nov 2011)
I would like to talk about the big picture. Here’s the big picture. When we started 60 years ago, we were not connected. No roads, no schools and no healthcare. Villages were not speaking to each other. The energy of India, which lies within people, was not talking to each other. We’ve been able to connect Indians. We started out as a poor nation where everybody was poor.

CII summit, New Delhi (April 2013)
There are people doing yoga in New York and dancing around, that’s Indian power. You go to a night club somewhere in Spain and there’s Amitabh Bachchan on the screen there, dancing around. That’s the power of India. That’s the power of Indian people.

Congress workshop on social media, New Delhi
If India is a computer, Congress is its default program. Congress comes natural to India’s ethos. Here, anger and aggression are not appreciated

CII summit, New Delhi (April 2013)
Optimism for me is like India. It is bursting with dreams and fearless ideas, brave ideas. Millions and millions of youngsters are struggling every day with optimism.

CII summit, New Delhi (April 2013)
We have to provide the roads on which our dreams are paved. And these roads can’t have potholes. They can’t break down in six months. They have to be big roads because they are going to carry strong people, strong forces

A reaction just after the Mumbai attacks (July 2011)
It is difficult to prevent every single terror attack. If the US can’t prevent terror attacks, how can we? The war is taking place. Not in the US, but on them. The war has moved. They are losing people in Afghanistan. We can stop 99 per cent of attacks, but one per cent may get through.

Chairing a talk by Internet founder Vint Cerf, JNU, New Delhi (Jan 2013)
Every situation that Indian person finds himself in is extremely complex. We have to deal with the red lights. As young leaders here have to deal with senior with senior leaders, suddenly someone disrupts your entire life. Everything happens, sort of, according to your karma, it’s all random

CII summit, New Delhi (April 2013)
We need to empower everybody, not one person, not almost everybody, but everybody.

CII summit, New Delhi (April 2013)
I went to University in 1991. I remember nobody thought of India. I remember conversations where people would laugh and say, ‘Do you have elephants on the road?’ Nobody is saying that today. A huge part of it is because of you people

During a talk in Allahabad on ‘Culture, Deepening Democracy and Most Marginalised Communities’ (Aug 2013)
Poverty is a state of mind. It does not mean the scarcity of food, money or material things. If one possesses self-confidence, then one can overcome poverty
.

Are we going to have Confused person
as our PM in 2014?
I am completely confused,

Please don't confuse me anymore

AAP is Trapped by the cunning game of Congress

Arvind Kejriwal walked into a Trap
laid out by Congress
BJP, the single largest political party winning max seats in Delhi, declared opposition role rightly because, Aam Admi party did not offer support to BJP to form  government.  Therefore BJP just could not think of forming a government on its own.
Arvind Kejriwal, kept saying, we will not take BJP and Congress support to form the government and we will also not offer our support to anyone..And we prefer to sit in opposition as people of Delhi have not voted us in power.  This made it very clear that AAm party was not willing to support BJP.

AAM suggesting.. BJP should form a government with the help of Congress was amateurish, ridiculous and utterly mischievous knowing, it will not happen.
One of the main reasons for AAP to take this stand was, during their campaign, AAm party called both national parties "Chor" Corrupt, Lootere, etc.etc.This by itself was a trap AAM party had built around themselves for taking a high moral ground against both the national political parties. They were already trapped in their own trap. ( This was due to lack of diplomacy)
Only if Arvind Kejriwal had political vision and diplomacy, he should have respected Delhi mandate in favor of BJP and offered his support in the 1st place to BJP to form the government. He could have then demanded AAP support to BJP on the common program and could have actually got AAP  election promises fulfilled with the support of BJP government.
They could have dictated good governance, non corrupt rule, and development agenda to BJP to follow. This way, Delhi people would have got what they wanted from the government. It would have been WIN WIN situation for AAP.  But instead AAP made politically wrong choices.

And then, Congress very cunningly offered their unconditional support after BJP gave-up the claim. This was a well calculate trap.
This was a shrewd move by Congress and well calculated because they knew the way Arvind Kejriwal and his AAP members were using the language, Congress knew, AAP will offer us ample chances to pull the rug under their feet. Till then, let us expose AAP on their commitments made to people. Also take the credit for supporting AAP  to avoid second round of election burden on the people of Delhi. And also keep BJP out of power in Delhi.
So any which way you look at it, AAP was in a trap smartly laid by Congress and Congress was aiming to take political benefits out of the situation..

May be, Arvind Kejriwal and his members need to learn more about "Shrewd Rajniti"
Politics when you enter, you can not say, we don't play politics, we are into it for serving people of Delhi. Yes, that is the reason you decided to enter into politics. It may not be hardcore politics but Social politics.
But average commonsense tells you, You can not keep saying openly, we will first bring-in strong Lokayukta and send all Corrupt Congress politicians like Sheila Dixit to jail?
What kind of politics is this? Vindictive politics? You surely can take a strong position against corruption but that does not mean, you talk loosely about it? Whatever you wish to do, do it quietly once you come to power but don't be arrogant.

This is the similar arrogance like Congress who ill treated Anna and his team when Kejriwal was part of civil movement led by Anna Hazare. He has seen that arrogance and not learned?
Where is the humility in all this talk by Arvind Kejriwal? He has also not learned humility from Anna Hazare?

You can hang a person for the crime but you must also respect the rights of the alleged accused  till proven guilty.
Nothing is proved yet about what is being alleged about corruption by BJP or Congress and how can Arvind Kejriwal talk loosely about sending politicians to jail?
Is this not an arrogance?

Secondly, has people of Delhi given verdict in favor of corrupt BJP by giving majority seats? Should he not respect the verdict of people humbly?
BJP got maximum seats than AAP. So the mandate was in clear favor of BJP. Arvind Kejriwal does not respect electoral sentiments and respect the mandate of the people? This also is his arrogance to paint BJP and Congress with the same brush with the same color.
Whereas, Congress in Delhi got completely decimated. People of Delhi rejected congress Rule totally and defeated Shiela Dixit by over 20,000 votes in favor of Arvind Kejriwal.

Was the mandate in favor of Congress in Delhi or BJP?
Arvind Kejriwal did not respect the sentiments of Delhi voters in the first place.
Then, he did not  respect the rejection of Congress completely by Delhi voters for its corruption and arrogance?
And the worst  is...AAP is joining hands to form the government with the same corrupt Congress party who AAP targeted in their election campaigns ?  When AAP got mandate in their favor against Congress. What could be morally and principally right?.
AAP walked into Congress`s  cunningly laid out trap.

Arvind may call it a smart move. And say, forced by the public pressure to form the government with Congress, But he lacked political WISDOM in making all these so called smart moves.

Congress just yesterday sounded a 1st warning shot to AAP saying... Do Not Take us for granted. It is not unconditional support. The day you fail to deliver what you have promised, we will withdraw our support.

Congress by supporting AAP wanted to achieve three main objectives.

1- keep BJP out of Power corridors. 2- Buy enough time to set Congress house in order. and
3- Let AAP dig its own grave and finish-off on its own from the political space.

The problem with every common man from the middle class is this...Underestimating our opponents and overestimating own intelligence. They refuse to understand and accept.. politics is a game of shrewd diplomacy. Frank open talk does not work in politics. In fact, that becomes your major weakness.

There are no permanent enemies and friends. Arvind did not learn from his Guru Anna Hazare... the Art of Diplomacy.

Your survival in politics depends more on Diplomacy than your loose talk.

Arvind Kejriwal and his team compromised on their morals, principles from day one.

When it is a known fact... how this relationship is going to end miserable in a very short time. Where is the wisdom in all this?

Arvind and his team failed to see who is selling this country, who is looting this country, Not BJP, it is Congress.

Rahul Gandhi its too late Now!

Rahul Gandhi wakes-up
after 10 years of his Congress Party Rule.

Rahul Gandhi was addressing business community, in FICCI and talked about reforms required in labour laws, growing corruption in all sectors, creating right atmosphere for healthy growth of manufacturing sector.

But what was Rahul Gandhi
and his Congress party doing for the last 10 long years while in the governance?
Has Rahul Gandhi started working Now
and asking electorate to vote him back in power?

And what about the accountability of last 10 years?

Was this a confessional note saying my Congress party did not do anything on all these pressing issues and the loot was going on during our rule and we turned our heads other way when 2G, CWG, Coal scam,  Augusta Helicopter scam, Rail scam, Defense scam, irrigation scam, land scam, were happening?

Many Congress ministers, Congressmen, their friends and relatives  were involved and  they all were protected by Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi and the Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh denying about all the scams?

Was Rahul Gandhi not aware about all these super scams? Or is that, Rahul Gandhi thought, Anna Hazare, Arvind Kejriwal and civil society can´t  defeat Congress?

The latest  proof of Rahul Gandhi`s fake stand
against corruption is ADARSH SCAM.

His own Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde
and 3 Ex Chief Ministers of Maharashtra
are found involved in the huge Adarsh scam?
And Ashok Chavan is getting protection from Delhi?

The two member commission headed by two honorable justices have clearly alleged accusations against Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde, Ex CM Ashok Chauvan` and other Congress ministers.

It is a proof Congressmen are deeply involved in th Adarsh scam and it is reported in the media that, pressure from Delhi has forced. Maharashtra Government to reject the commission`s report to save all Congress ministers.

Any honest comments by Rahul Gandhi?
The nation is waiting to hear his moral stand?

Will Rahul Gandhi tell people these double standards by his party on corruption ?

When it comes to Gujarat and Narendra Modi, Congress is quick in setting up inquiry commissions, even the same Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde who is accused of corruption in Adarsh is appealing to the President of India to initiate inquiry about Gujarat Snoop gate to target Narendra Modi, but Rahul Gandhi, does not think on high moral ground, his Home Minister who is indicted by the commission should be sacked?

Is this a Lip service to project himself as an honest leader ?
Or smart fooling around after humiliating defeat in recent elections?

If he is so honest and sincere in his intent to fight against corruption, he would have done something to protect Ashok Khemka who is a victim of his own corrupt Congress government who helped Robert Vadra to make millions in land deals in Haryana?

But he did not since it is his family matter. Robert Vadera, is his Brother-In-Law.

If he is sincere and honest, he and his Congress party would not be protecting Sajan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler who are accused in 1984 Sikh riots who were directly involved in killing innocent Sikh men, women and children cruelly?
We have been watching in the media clips, how both the accused, Sajan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler participating in Congress meetings with Rahul and Sonia Gandhi?

If he was so sincere and honest...

he and his Congress party would have fought for Bhopal Gas Victims who are still fighting for their rights and justice.

And he was so honest and sincere...

he would have asked his party seniors not to target Narendra Modi unfairly for 2002 Riots. Because, Congress past record is worst. 1984 Sikh Riots, were sponsored by Congress members and the alleged criminals are still working  in Congress whereas their actual place is in the jail?

If Rahul Gandhi was sincere and honest,...

he would have gone through Congress past  and found out, gross human rights violation record  when his Congress party PM had imposed Emergency Rule in 1977 and denied fundamental rights of the citizens of India?

It was a Fascist Rule imposed by his Congress Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. He would have known, Narendra modi came much later in politics, but before his arrival, his own party had a Dictator, Hitler and a fascist leaders in Congress.

In all honesty, Rahul Gandhi should have asked his Congressmen like Digvijay Singh, Kapil Sebal, Chidamabaram, Shqeel Ahemed, and many others to stop indulging into Character assassination of Narendra Modi.

He never did that and in fact encouraged the dishonest propaganda that suited his politics and how can he claim today to be changed person?

Congress character, intent, politics never have been honest.

His famous choreographed Act in the press conference, tearing an ordinance, calling it "nonsense"  that his own Congress party had pushed to protect their own Congress tainted ministers was nothing but a face saving drama enacted by Rahul Gandhi because, Rahul Gandhi and his team of congressmen knew it well, President was going to send it back and then Congress would have lost face in public.

Honestly.. was that an honest ACT Rahul Gandhi?

Doesn't he see anything wrong and dishonest when Congress itself is in the dock on many accusations?

Adarsh is a classic example of his dishonesty.
So last ten years who has been dishonest in politics, suddenly trying to claim, he is a changed Avatar needs to be seen as politically correct and hypocritical position.

Whichever way you look at it... Rahul Gandhi has woken up after 10 years of his own party deficit in governance in the country. Congress only indulged in the national loot and vote bank politics when Rahul Gandhi has been a part of it. He was a silent spectator enjoying powers.

Only after suffering humiliating defeat in recent elections,... Rahul Gandhi is talking of issues Civil Society has been raising on the streets for the past 3 years?

Rahul Gandhi... it is too late and it is too little with lot of dishonesty.
